Smoothing

Smoothing controls how much filtering is applied to your motion data to reduce jitter and high-frequency tracking noise.
  • Low smoothing keeps all the subtle motion, including small jitters. Useful if you want to preserve expressive gestures or refine the result by hand.
  • High smoothing automatically removes small glitches, but may also dampen quick or sharp movements, making the animation feel more floaty or rigid.
If the motion feels too stiff, lower the smoothing. If it's too noisy or shaky, increase it slightly.

You can set this value when launching the processing, but also adjust it later if needed. In the Review screen, open Edit Animations, then select Launch New Job to rerun the modeling with a different smoothing level using the same video.

Animation Frame Rate

Controls how many animation keyframes per second are exported in the final FBX.
  • Higher frame rate (e.g. 60 FPS): Results in smoother motion with more detail, but heavier files.
  • Lower frame rate (e.g. 24 or 30 FPS): Lighter files, easier to edit, but may lose some motion nuance.
💡
This doesn’t affect tracking quality, only the resolution of the exported animation.
